We have found the Orange Five Pro is ideal for the tough Lake District conditions. The single pivot design might be seen by some to be dated, however, it climbs efficiently and powers through the technical stuff to give you the sure-footed confidence of a much heavier bike on the descents. Great do it all bike loved by all at Biketreks.
Great to live with too, with durable epoxy powder coat paint, full length gear cables, loads of tyre clearance, and £5.00 a pop pivot bearings....................great reputation upheld. Top tip, If you buy one spec. the Hope headset, and ideally, the performance pack, loads of Thomson kit and carbon bars at a great saving.
