Where o'h where has the time gone?....
Blimey! Where did the month of September go? In fact where did the so-called summer go? In fact it never was a [proper?] summer.... but that was then and this is now...or is it yesterday? Depending on when this is published and [You] are reading this...ok, ok, enough! i could go on...but!
So as i outlined in the last column the month has been characterised by the deliveries of many of our ''top'' brands Autumn & Winter collections. I have to say it 'ain't been easy'.... i could go on but suffice it to say with the sheer volume [as in numerous boxes!] and the number of brands the last few weeks haven't been the 'calmest' in The Boutique's history. In other words have i had a 'hissy' or three? What do You think?... o'h yes, many!
Anyway let's move on and consider the facts: New collections from Endura, Gore Bikewear, Helly Hansen, Altura and Pearl iZumi.
I have highlighted in the previous column some particular highlights and ''must haves'' for the forthcoming wet and no doubt cold winter ahead....b'rrrrrh!
I have to say Thank You to all those clients who took the opportunity to ''reserve'' many of the incredible products we now have in store...but for those that didn't don't hesitate to email, phone or call by to 'grab' what we have left. These must include the Gore Bikewear Cosmo Softshell Windstopper Jacket in 'green' camo print.... please note! ''Limited Edition''! Yes seling fast and at £149.99 a 'steal' so too speak! We even had one client from Somerset who had been trying to buy a Cosmo from his local store for over 3 years! And he was not to be argued with! Over 6ft 4ins, some great tatoos and a sense of humour to be admired! So off he went with our one and only XXL size.... happy as 'Larry'!
Add the fevor that surrounds the new collection of the iconic Gore Phantom.... the definitive bike kit garment of the noughties... The best 100 quid You will ever spend! So much so we had a 'reserve list' of double figures and customers literally grabbing from the boxes hot off the UPS vehicle. Crazy! [And yes i'm still liking that iconic UPS 'brown' uniform!] [Just for the record.... 3 colourways....
