Is it just me or are the Olympics 'over-hyped'? OK, so i get the Chris Hoys

and the other swimmer 'gold medalist' but surely a lot of 'fuss' over sports we

only see every 4 years?

Speaking of, yes London 2012..... 4 years away from chaos & confusion,

double-decker Routemaster buses & David Beckham? [he's from Essex for god's sake!]

As a ''part-time'' Londoner and 'southern softee'..... not that i want to 'rock the

good ship Olympics but 'not in our backyard'!! 9... yes repeat NINE!! Billion

quid!! to stage! What? Imagine 9 billion pounds spent on the infa-structure of London, one of the world's greatest cities, 'buzzing' with commerce, banking, arts, fashion, retail and tourism.... new transport systems, the tube upgraded, new lines, roads, buildings, 'green spaces'.... etc etc....

I'm utterly convinced there is not a single 'true' Londoner that will welcome the

Games in 2012....too busy simply trying to get to the office! i think even Boris is 'faking it'! [So too speak!]

Bloody hell with 9 billion quid i could personally buy the entire PRADA Group!

And how happy would that make me!! Endless supply of Prada loafers!
