Radio 4 'artcile' informed me that the world of the 'Blog'...[still loathe that word!] has been invaded by the Corporate market.... 'ghost writers' [like the author's who write Premiership Footballers 'Auotbiographies'.. What? Wayne Rooney didn't write his very own book? Never! Such an intelligent, clever man?! Well Stevie G. wrote his! Must have done! He's a 'god'!
And that illusrates another characteristic of so-called 'blogging'.... if i were writing on another 'subject matter' blog i would be describing Mr.G as a '+++' god! Not simply as a 'god'.... and i'm a Gunners supporter!

In fact it could be viewed that over the past few weeks this column/'blog' has seen a concentration in terms of theme & content on BRANDS...brands and more brands!
Some have gone so far as to ask i'm i [a] obsessed with Prada? [the answer is.. YES of course!] and [b] am i receiving 'payment' from Prada? [answer is sadly 'No'! However if the Prada PR/Media Departments are reading this i'm Size Euro 41.5 in Prada loafers and a pair of this season's Penny loafers in navy/sky would be very welcome! Thanks! After all i'm not a proud 'man' and £320 quids worth of Prada's finest always welcome!]

So the web is being 'hi-jacked' by the BIG Boys... corporate giants take over the world! Nothing new there then. We all [by and large] grew up with the 'culture of brand' and lets face it it isn't going to change. If anything the World in which we live will become one big 'branded' earth and it wont be governments but Corporations
that will ''control' everything. [Let You into a 'secret'..they do now!] i will in the meantime 'blog away' to my heart's content...but of course with the indespensible help of the following 'sponsors'..... ADIDAS, BOLLE, DE MARCHI, ANIMAL, FOX, GORE BIKEWEAR, HELLY HANSEN, PEARL IZUMI, SPECIALIZED, ENDURA, TIFOSI.... & all those Brands i might have forgot!

And just in case any representatives of the following are reading!??... Prada, Paul Smith, Jil Sander, Aquascutum, Kiehls, Browns, The Zetter Hotel, Rhodes24, Renault [Blackpool] Fed Ex, Mulberry, Nicole Farhi, Arsenal FC, Foxtons [prefereable Hampstead branch!], Virgin Rail, O2, Nokia, American Apparel, Liberty, BB italia, Esquire, Monocle, Tyler Brule', etc, etc etc....
