That is what one of You ''readers'' said to me after checking out the last two 'columns'...
[He did phrase it slightly differently as in ''Lighten up You miserable ****.... for the sake of not being taken ''off air'' lets say he said ''git''... but he didn't!] I have to confess he has a 'point'... but only just! I stand by every word i 'uttered'.
However on reading various articles in such esteem publications as GQ & The Independent. [granted the latter was Janet Street-Porter so make up your own mind on that one!] Nonetheless there is a tipping point where ''blogging'' simply is 'naff' and [i'm] not too far from falling off the 'gangplank'.

So 'light' as a 'feather' from here on in! 2008, so what am i hoping for!... Here i all go 'self indulgent'! Yes, well perhaps, one of the single most important decisions to be made is by our 'so-called' cousins across the 'pond'. Simple: ''the skinny kid with the funny name'' for the White House. Please 'gods' the US doesn't make the same stupid mistake again. [After all Bush Jnr is quite possibly the most dangerous person in the world today ...or is it the 'faceless suits' who pull the strings?] Barack Obama may not be all he seems but he is [perhaps] the only hope for US.

Yes highlights for me in '08: Well regular readers will know the increasing importance of NW3, London and [of course] baby Jacob. If i don't make the West Coast line with all it's associated 'challenges' at least once every 8 weeks You have my permission to 'kick my ass'! S/S 08 Collections: [Spring/Summer 08] Yes cannot wait to see what the likes of John Smedley, Paul Smith, Nicole Farhi, Prada & [fav] Aquascutum will have to offer and to visit my 'fav' stores, Matches, Browns, Question Air, Blueberries. [Blackpool] & Jules B. Plus, of course, Liberty...superb! [Subliminal message: support 'Independent stores!]

[Speaking of, The Biketreks Boutique will be unveiling our S/S 08 'collections' from the likes of Gore Bikewear, Pearl iZumi, Endura, Fox & many more from February onwards.... make a note in that Symthson's diary.] New shoes! Summer has to be marked by a new pair of 'warm weather weight' loafers.... Tods? Gucci or even Specialized??!
 
White coloured cars! The debate continues.... i still have memories of that Boxster S, in white, parked on Bond St. Fiat 500? [h'mm? Better than a Mini Clubman!] £42k for the Tracey Emin painted Fiat 500 anyone? E'h? no i'll stick with my Lee provided Clio diesel thanks all the same. Paris: St Pancras to central Paris. [Watch this space...] Paris is the city for 2008... simply use Eurostar!.. Leave the 'plane on the tarmac!
