Yes without stating the obvious 2007 is all but over..... Another year gone. And yes the years do pass by faster as one gets older. It is indeed a time of reflection, a time for melancholy, a time to consider and contemplate. I'd be foolish if i didn't make reference to the 'tough times ahead'. [some say it's simply Media soothsayers doing their worse but i think not.] Banking crisis, inflation, interest rates, mortgages, debts and the state of the planet. It's not looking good is it? 'Things that are changing'... However somethings are changing for the better, there are signs of encouragement and of change...for the better.

Don't get me wrong, for as long as this column has been going it is obvious that if You cut me i'd bleed 'Prada' Eau de Parfum. I'm hardly the most ethically 'green' person in the world! However a constant theme has been the need for quality. 'Buy cheap, buy twice' is a mantra i will repeat & repeat until well stop having to! It is worth the time, effort and to a degree 'sacrifice' one has to make to ensure the product required is the right one. Be it shoes, boots, waterproofs, windproofs, bibtights or bikes..... make sure You make the right decision. It goes without saying we are here to help [You] make the right decision, we have the brands, the products and the 'know how', all under one roof. [cliche']

But think of it another way, buying the right products does make sense in every sense! Investment buying pays dividends long term. Simple maths really... after all many of todays 'problems and challenges' stem from our 'throw away' culture. Buy products that work and You appreciate and work out how 'little' the ''final'' cost really is.
