And by that i am not simply referring to the 'superb' BBC2 series which reached it's [disappointing?] climax last week. [Sorry but i stopped watching when 'Brothers & Sisters' 'completed' on Channel 4 in October. [Still miss it! For those that didn't please read previous columns for an ''unhealthy, obessive viewpoint...of course it was all ''real''!]

In the last week i've been fortunate enough to meet two of my own
'Heroes'......lets say two people that have in some way influenced my life and
my thinking.

Hero One: Let's call him 'Paul' [not his real name.] participates in probably one of the best most stimulating websites in the world. www.showstudio.com With contributors as diverse as Nick Knight & Alexander McQueen [did someone mention 'Hero'?!! O'h yes.. Genius!] it is what the web was invented for.

Hero Two: I'm not alone in my attempts to make the male in NW England smart, stylish & 'savvy'...and to buy 'quality' shoes! Julian of Jules B, Kendal is on a crusade to do just that! www.julesb.co.uk So now You know where You can buy 'good' shoes! And much so much more! And there is a third 'family' Hero... forgive me for this but my 18 year old cousin Alex [A 'Para']begins a tour of duty in Afghanistan in a few weeks time. A real Hero!

So the last thing we here at Biketreks Ltd are 'Heroes'.... nothing of the sort. We are what we are and strive to do the very best we can. [As in our 'efforts' last week at the Launch Evening. Refer previous column.] That said some of the Team would acclaim to 'heroics' of one kind or another! We are mere humams of fleah & blood after all, working to make an honest living.

THE BIG SALE begins on Thursday 27th December so save some of that present money to buy that jacket or baselayer You've been 'coveting'. After all all 'Super Heroes' are always prepared for whatever the 'world' may throw at them!...And so can You be in the right kit.
