Demo Bikes (view our list of current demo bikes)

• The demo bike of your choice, selected from our wide range
• A discussion of the functions and any special features the bike has, enabling you to enjoy the ride right from the start
• A profesional set-up of the bike to suit your needs, before you ride
• If you have your own clipless pedals you would like to use, we will fit them for you
• Expert advice on planning your ride to take in places you may want to go, using our knowledge of the quiet roads and offroad tracks in the Lake District
• A laminated route guide to take with you
• A helmet, for your safety
• A pump, tyre levers, spare tube & puncture repair kit, just in case you have a puncture
• A lock, if needed

Demo prices: demo bikes won't cost you the Earth - all your demonstration costs are deducted from the price of the bike that you buy from Biketreks!

• Half-day demo (morning 9am till 1pm, or afternoon 1pm till 5pm) is £20 - a great way to try a couple of bikes during the day
• Full-day demo (9am till 5pm) is £40 - experience the bike on a long trail so you know its definitely the one!

• We require a deposit for the demo bikes of £500 on a credit /debit card, and two forms of ID for the cardholder, such as a driving licence, or passport
• Please have your weight to hand when you book, so we can set up the bike for you

Demo Bike Sales: We periodically sell our demo bikes, all are professionally serviced after each ride, the price reflects the condition but we sell these bikes before they get tired so you can be confident of getting a great bike. Click here for further details and availability.

If you want to make sure you get lucky then you can reserve a demo bike for yourself. We typically run a demo bike for a maximum of three months before moving them on to customers. They get used on average two times per week and are fully cleaned and serviced after each ride and get a more in depth service before re-sale.
