Andy's away for cycling for two weeks, heading out from Ulverston on Sunday 22nd July, so I thought I'd hijack his blog (and his desk).

Andy may well threaten to get the scales out to weigh his 'heavier' staff, but I say catch me down hill...let gravity take control, let them eat pies..little whippets feel the cold.

Loads of things happening at present, our big sale starts on the 18th August so loads of prep for that. Make sure you get here early as things are gonna fly out...

Really good to see the tour being wide open this year, will Rasmussen do it? Been some classic moments, who's was that dog?

It's the time to get out and ride even for us big boys, we did a 40 mile road route around the Solway plains on Sunday, fantastic day, glorious sunshine and very flat. Anyone in doubt about road bikes, take a leaf out of the Shire's book and try a Specialized Roubaix, so comfortable. Try it.
